Every family we welcome is met, first, by Mileidy. A licensed Special Education professional with a degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica, she has spent her career truly learning how children grow, through connection, play, and the quiet trust built over time.

Her path has been shaped by hands-on experience in inclusive education, then caregiving abroad, and now by leading an elevated standard of care at Pacific Childcare, deepening her understanding of early childhood stimulation and child neurolearning along the way.

For Mileidy, childhood is something to witness, not manage. Children absorb not only what we teach them, but everything we model through our presence. To care for a child is the privilege of becoming a trusted presence in their world, a space where they feel safe, valued, and free to become who they are, caring for the whole child: mind, body, heart, and imagination.

Diana holds a Primary Education degree, over three years of hands-on childcare experience, and a background in luxury and boutique hospitality.

From childhood education to coordinating children’s surf experiences at one of Costa Rica’s most exclusive properties, every step sharpened the same instinct: anticipating a family’s needs before they ask.

Paola

Paola brings warmth, patience, and authentic devotion to every child in her care, with a special affinity for infants and young children.

As a mother to a 13-year-old daughter, she delivers hands-on expertise and a genuine maternal understanding of children’s needs, creating calm, nurturing environments where little ones feel safe and loved. An avid reader and lover of long beach walks, she brings that same sense of calm and presence into every interaction with the children she cares for.

Ana

Ana’s love for children began at home, first as a mother, then as a career. Raising her own 9-year-old son has given her an expertise that no training alone can teach: she knows, firsthand, what it means to create a childhood filled with fun, safety, and moments worth remembering.

She grew up in the heart of Costa Rica’s tropical cloud forest, surrounded by nature and biodiversity. That background, alive with tourism and hospitality, connected her early on to families and children of every culture, from every corner of the globe.

Mariel

Few caregivers can offer fluency in English, French, and Spanish, a skill Mariel has carried with her since her years in France from 2017 to 2022, where she cared for children across more than 20 families while teaching Spanish.

Today, at Pacific Childcare, she continues that same bridge between languages and childhood, not only teaching French and Spanish to children, but delivering exceptional and warm care to guests as young as 4 months old.
